Bushman Nomadic Camp
Located in the northwestern region of the Okavango Delta, next to the famed concessions Vumbura, Duba, and just west of Shinde and Kwara, the NG-12 Concession is a hidden gem that is usually only found by the die-hard Botswana fans and safari afficionados.
Until recently, there were few good quality options for accommodations in the area, either sacrificing on guide dedication and expertise or accommodation reliability. Enter Bushman Nomadic. Bushman Nomadic Camp is a return to our origins. DNA studies have found the Bushmen are the first people, the source of all humanity. In the beginning we tracked lions and stole meat from their kills. We were a part of nature. The Bushmen maintained this connection through the mellenia. Here, masters of the natural world reconnect you during your safari in their ancestral lands within the wilderness of the famed Okavango Delta.
- This is a vintage, classic camp is modeled in the style of East Africa which allows it to focus on being one of the only camp options that offers the Botswana of yester-year. With a major focus on flexibility and hard core wildlife viewing, the camp is designed to facilitate the safari. With only four Meru style tents, the camp offers intimacy and flexibility. The main tent features the dining area where tables can be converted between long, family-style dining to private, romantic dinners for two. Breakfasts are enjoyed early morning beside the open campfire, which also serves as the end-point to the day as guests enjoy cocktails as they reminisce about the day.
