Chobe Elephant Camp
Perched on the edge of a rocky ridge overlooking the famous Chobe River. The Chobe river floodplain area always had a special appeal to our bush-lover’s eyes. Chobe Elephant Camp sprung from a desire to provide an authentic wilderness experience in Chobe, away from the increasing number of visitors concentrating in the Eastern side of the park.
This uniquely designed lodge has been built to take advantage of the incredible views overlooking the sweeping floodplains.
The lodge has been entirely constructed from sandbags, with thick, sand-filled walls forming a natural insulating barrier to regulate the temperature. It houses ten rooms, one family room, and can sleep 24 guests at a time.
With a variety of activities including game drives in open safari vehicles, boat safaris, or experiencing life in the village, the camp has access to the experiences that make Chobe National Park famous with the authenticity and intimacy of a boutique property.
Facilities include an outdoor pool, reading corner, bar, lounge, and dining area. All accommodations are ensuite with elegant bathrooms including hot and cold running water and flush toilets.
